Spring is almost upon us here in New York- it takes longer than most. Spring transition can be the toughest weather to dress for- so layering is the name of the game. I’m loving shirt jackets this year as an alternative to anything stiff or bulky- read on for the softest one I’ll be wearing right into Spring!

Nordstrom never fails for helping me find closet staples that are well-made. This shirt jacket looks like the Free People one I have been dreaming of- but for less. I love when I find pieces from brands I trust that I know will work for more than one season.
I struggle with straight jeans and Nordstrom carries my favorite brand that I swear makes the only flattering pair that exist. These Madewell jeans have just enough stretchy to hug curves while still being on trend.
Longchamp bags are another brand favorite of mine- they are so well-made. This one is the perfect size and there are few more I’m loving this season too!
