I was glad to see that plaid shirt jackets are back this season. In the early Fall months it’s nice to throw these on in lieu of a jacket. I’m picky with the ones that I choose- but the soft colors of this one can’t be beat.

I like throwing some edgier twists on outfits that could get real sweet, real quick. The colors of this shacket from one of my favorite Nordstrom brands brings cotton candy to mind- so I like adding edgier bottoms with this looks. Straight leg jeans and lug boots do the trick to keep this grounded and grown up.
Nordstrom never fails to give on trend pieces that are great quality. This shacket is SO soft and well-made, plus it is thick enough to be a great top layer for the chillier days.
These Madewell jeans are my favorite and I have them in multiple washes. I love them with sneakers or lug boots. If you are a leggings gal though, this shacket looks just as amazing with faux leather leggings!
