The Perfect Top for Work or the Weekend

There is nothing I love more than versatility. Since I started teaching I have really paired down my wardrobe and made sure that when I buy things, they can be worn pretty much anywhere.

This post was created in collaboration with Nordstrom, all opinions are my own.

Luckily for me, Nordstrom never disappoints- they offer budget-friendly, casual pieces that are so versatile and so well-made that they are great for work too! Over the years I’ve grown to love so many of their brands I can rely on. Whenever I am faced with needing something new or finding something to wear to a meeting, an event or even just for date night, I start looking at Nordy,

This top is so soft and comfy that I reach for it all the time. I layer it on cold days and wear it with everything from white to blue to black jeans, depending on where I’m going. When wearing it to work I’ll stick with black jeans or pants and it looks polished but doesn’t sacrifice comfort.

I love having a closet based on comfy but polished staples that I can mix and match no matter to where I’m heading. These are the pieces that last year and year and that I’ve come to rely on!
